The chairman of Palaro Sub County in Omoro County, Gulu district Mr. David Ngole has blasted Gulu district officials for constant bickering amongst themselves instead of focusing on developing the community.

Ngole advised politicians at war with each other to seek dialogue with Acholi Religious Leaders or the Paramount Chief of Acholi Rwot David Onen Acana II in an effort to resolve differences other than plan attacks on each other yet service delivery in the district remain very poor. 

He said that it is on record that the municipal Speaker Mr. Kelly Komakech has developed bad blood with the Mayor and Gulu district chairman Martin Ojara Mapenduzi. 

Ngole added that there is also bad vibe between the district Member of Parliament Hon Christopher Acire and Mapenduzi which is reducing Gulu district to a laughing stock because the leaders are only concentrating on how to settle scores with their ‘enemies’ rather than focus on developmental issues that will benefit the district.

“You see, politicians here should reconcile seriously because every day you hear who is against who, which makes politics in this district very fake,” he said.
