A child suffering from the nodding disease was last week dumped at the offices of Gulu Resident District Commissioner (RDC).
The Regional Northern Police Spokesperson Mr Johnson Kilama said that the child was dumped by an unknown person whom they have yet failed to trace because, when approached the child was non-responsive.
Kilama told the media that the boy was discovered by a security guard who protects the offices of the RDC but did not want to be named and said that when he came in the morning he got the child sitting in the compound.
