An unidentified Ugandan driver of a South Sudan bound truck on Thursday escaped an unhurt after coming under gunfire from armed thugs on South Sudan soil.
The driver was ferrying goods to the South Sudan capital Juba when he came under gunfire attack between Jabulen and Aruu–along the road to uba.
The driver, according to Lt Ahmed Kato ,the 4th Division spokesman escaped unhurt.
Details about the incident were by the time of filing this story still sketchy.
Ugandan drivers who ply the Attiak- Juba Highway have often come under attack from armed gangs in South Sudan.
